Minnesota Vikings Stadium at Mall of America - The Buzz |

|
Mall of America Phase II & Stadium Minnesota
Tourism
- Stadium - Jobs - Revenue - Image The Peoples Stadium will provide Game Space for Minnesota's H. S. Teams as well as Recreational Space for Residents 365 days a year and Vikings 10 Days a yr. The site & approach for Minnesota's next Stadium should include a Cost Benefit Analyses with facts & figures from Governor Dayton's Office & House Research. MOA II & Stadium; A Quick look, then Reasons & Specifics...
Mr. Wilf will make $5 Million a year from Parking but MN will loose $1 Billion a yr. in Tourism Revenue from a MOA Phase II & Stadium; Please call the Governor & leave a message that MOA should be in the stadium mix so Minnesotan's can have the Jobs & Revenue. Thank you.
Naming Rights Agent Jesse Rybeck, Director of Business Development for Premier Partnerships, stated that the Meadowland's venue has the highest value with two NFL Teams and the up coming 2014 Superbowl and it is the largest Media Market in the U. S.; Met Life previously had been a $7-million-a-year “cornerstone” partnership, one of four in the venue; a timely investment for Met Life, the contract is for 25 years.
Mall of America Stadium Naming Rights are Global instead of U.S. Regional, this shows the value at $1 Billion to pay for a Stadium is quite reasonable and Governor Dayton should talk to one or two of the top 7 Naming Rights Agents before any Stadium Deal is done. Chapter 1 - MOA II & Stadium, The Plan...
MOA Phase II - Event & Sports Facility for MN Residents 365 Days a yr. with H. S. Football & Sports Playoffs, Events and more; plus Vikings use 10 days a year. Stadium, "State Owned & Controlled," with Revenues to Minnesota.
Tourism & Revenue Benefits of a MOA Stadium better than other locations plus ease of use by residents; "Facts & Figures" with an "Open Process" needed.
The location, North Side of MOA with a big beautiful empty lot just waiting; "People's Stadium," H. S. Championships & everyday events plus Vikings 10 days.
Mall of America Aerial View from Google's with new MOA II & Stadium Site, & Beautiful MN Riverfront where a new MOA 'Self-Contained City' will be.
Chapter 2 - MOA II & Stadium, Reason's For...
No. 1 - Gopher Football & Recruiting Top Talent. The Most Talented Players, the No. 1 thing they want is National TV Exposure & they will chose schools based on the type & amount of TV time they will get. MOA hosted games will attract the National Broadcasts that Top Talented Players want. MOA & Stadium, as the World's Most Famous, could host Rival Games like Iowa, Wisconsin and Nebraska attracting high volume travelers for 100,000 per game for University Revenues & Top Talent plus a Class A Coach; Gophers, winners again. A MOA Stadium is the 'Starting Point' for better Talent and great Gopher Teams and nothing else will get those results and in so short a time, a MOA Superdome is the key
No. 2 - $5 Million yr. in Vikings Parking Revenue to decide MN's Future? Mr. Wilf wants a Arden Hills Stadium for $5 Million yr. in Parking Revenues on top of the $3 1/2 Million the Vikings currently make, should Minnesota's Future be 'sold down the river' for $5 Million; Minnesota Government, what say ye? Those Facts & Figures should be a part of a Cost Benefit Analyses needed to determine the site & approach as can be supplied by or the MN Legislatures House Research, which provides 'Unbiased Numbers.' Governor Mark Dayton has call for a Cost Benefit Analyses of only Arden Hills where Mr. Wilf wants the Stadium, why not "Facts & Figures" on all viable sites which his Commissioners can do & the Legislature's House Research with unbiased numbers. Arden Hills Development will not happen, the Vikings do not draw shopping or traffic visits and Rosedale is near. The MN River land next to MOA is best for Development.
No. 3 - Viking Tickets Not Selling; Half Price Tickets & more Deals, Discounts not seen in their 50-year History.
Vikings Season Tickets $290 for 10 games, Buy 2 and Park & Eat For Free, 6,500 were left for the Detroit and other Games, "perhaps" some Corporate help to avoid the Black Out and we have 5 more games this year that need work.
Only Mall of America has that extra “Glitz” and Family Fun things to do to help sell tickets to prevent future Black Outs; plus it's a fun & easy place to get to. Arden Hills & the Downtown Metrodome & Farmers Market sites all will have ticket problems.
No. 4 - NFL having a hard time with Tickets & Attendance.
NFL attendance is down 10%, only 3 of 16 games the 1st week were sell outs.
* NFL
Fantasy Football another nail in the ticket buying coffin, 34 million
strong, the interest goes to Stats away from games to a Gaming type
mentality; of the NFL’s weekly 80 Million viewers the focus is on the
‘Sport’ of Fantasy Football, not games. ‘Golden Age of Sports,’ is it over? Vikings tickets sales & attendance way down; Games at Sports Bar’s don’t draw like they used to; a down economy and the focus of our lives are changing, professional sports just don’t have that impact anymore...
No.
5 - Mall of America Stadium; “Four (4)
Superbowl” Type Games in One Year Possible...
(1) NFL Superbowl, (2) Big 10 Championship, Gopher "Rival Games” (3) Iowa or Wisconsin and (4) Nebraska, all at MOA; 100,000 Attendance Games with 80% Tourism Ratio, $100 Million Economic Impact and National Broadcasts.
Gopher Rival Games at the end season at MOA will attract huge traveling numbers with a World Class Stadium next to the Shopping & Entertainment of the World's Most Famous Stadium; it won't be just a game it will be a Mini-Minnesota Vacation.
The Big Ten Championship Game can be a Minnesota "Seasonal Classic" for 10 yrs. "No Other" Domed Stadiums in Big Ten Territory; MN's MOA Stadium the only one with the Glitz & Shopping to make it happen for those November-December Games;
No one else in the State has figured this out yet, and it will have an $100 Million a yr. Economic Impact that will last 10 years or more, MOA Phase II & Stadium...
“Build it and they will come...”
No. 7 - Mall of America is the most Centralized Population Location, has Light Rail and is next to the Airport.
Mpls.,
St. Paul, & suburban population west &
south of Mpls. and the
MN
River; is about 85% of the Metro Population, 2 million people within 20
miles of MOA & 80% of
Vikings Ticket Holders. Stadium Recreational use with that density, 4 Million
yr.
No. 8 -
A “Tale of Two Cities” in Downtown Minneapolis. 3 Million Twins Fans streaming into Minneapolis “has not” dramatically reshaped or added significant rejuvenation for Downtown; a new approach with an idea on what that “ideal” should be, the resources needed, and a 10-year Plan to get results; Event & Bar Traffic is not the answer.
Minneapolis has Two Distinct
Downtown Districts...
“Lower Loop,” Party Zone with Bars & Restaurants, Night & Strip Clubs, & more; compatible to 15% of the Population, limited weekend visits to Downtown. “Upper
Loop,” Nicollet Mall 8th St. to 12th
including the Theaters on Hennepin, are compatible to 85% of the
Population for Shopping, Restaurants & weekday visits. Downtown
Minneapolis is living off “Events,” change needed; the “Upper
Loop” Customers are the “85% Population Base” that Downtown Mpls.
needs to transform the City; “Controlled Safe Space,” next
generation Second Level Skyway Boulevards and Cafe’s, exciting &
weather controlled, Mall like space they can relate to.
No. 9 -
New “Sports & Event Facility,” what should Minnesota's
'Focus Be?'
Tourism, Jobs, Revenue and a great new Minnesota Image, that is where the focus should be, and only a Mall of America "Event & Sports" Facility, Stadium, will have the results that will make Minnesota a better State for the next 25 years.
Recreational & Community use for Minnesota Residents 365 Days a yr. at reasonable cost will draw 4,000,000 users covering "all" Operating & Development costs and the Vikings 10 days the secondary draw at 600,000 a year.
No. 10 - Mall of America & Minnesota Tourism.
Mall of America is 19-years old and there's been no new additions to attract Tourism, do we need a Tourism, and Jobs, Summit to look at the problem?
American Dream Meadowlands, that's the name the Owners of MOA put on it when they bought the Xanadu Mall and their goal is to make "it" the "new" No. 1 Tourism attraction in the U.S. taking away Minnesota Tourism & Jobs.
A complete Shopping, Entertainment, & Sports Mall with the NFL's new Giant's & Jets Stadium, Izod Arena and much more it will expand to 7 Million sq. ft. making it the largest Mall in the World. A MOA Phase II & Stadium will answer that challenge.
Zygi Wilf, a New Jersey resident, should he decide on a non-tourism Minnesota Stadium location when the $5 Million a year he gets from Parking hurts our Tourism & Jobs, and hopefully our Folks at all levels of Minnesota Government, and Media, will look at that?
No. 12 - Walt Disney's great vision created the World's Most Famous Theme Parks.
If you
had $100 Million to build a new Hotel at Disney World in Orlando
Florida, where do you put it? On some cheap polluted land 20 miles
from the Magic Kingdom; Downtown Orlando with Bars & Bad Parking; or
for success, next to a World Famous Destination with plenty of things to
see & do? A new MN Stadium
No. 13 - MOA, World’s Most Famous Mall & Stadium.
The
"Superdome Effect" will be the result of a World Class Stadium
at Mall of America. Due to the Mall's Worldwide Fame the Stadium
will draw from that & like the Superdome, "If it's an Important
Event" it will be at MOA Stadium, and Broadcasting and $ Billions in
"Free" International Tourism Publicity will follow; plus MN
Image benefits. Again, a MOA Phase II & Stadium with its Worldwide Fame will bring 10 Million new Tourists a year into MN for a $4 Billion a yr. Economic Impact & $300 Million a yr. in new State Tax Revenue lowering Business & Property Taxes plus 15,000 total jobs.
No. 14 - $1 Billion for Naming Rights, Building & Inside possible due to MOA being a Top 3 Most Recognizable Tourism Destination.
That $1 Billion with the usual "User Fee's" will pay for the "Whole" MOA Phase II & Stadium, "No Tax Money Needed," No Tax Money Needed, in fact with the $4 Billion in Revenues it will make the State $300 Million a year in "new" Tax Revenue.
No. 15 - "No Tax Money Needed," "No New Taxes" for Phase II & Stadium.
As Stated above; That $1 Billion with the usual "User Fee's" will pay for the "Whole" MOA Phase II & Stadium, "No Tax Money Needed," No Tax Money, in fact with the $4 Billion in Revenues it will make the State $300 Million yr. in new Tax Revenue.
No. 16 - Minnesota’s Image, Gopher Football Talent & MN's next 25 years. Gopher Football, “National Broadcasts” to recruit 1st Tier Talent at Rival Games with a MOA Stadium.
End of Season Big Ten Rival Games at MOA will draw 100,000 and National Broadcasts which is the No. 1 Item wanted by Big Time Talented Players around the Country, give them National TV and they will play for your team, Gophers, listening?
Chapter 2 "Reason's for a MOA Stadium" Conclusions:
Ten Years of information gathering for a Tourism Based Stadium have provided this Minnesotan with unique knowledge and that with some Marketing insight provide for "Minnesota, the Next Generation," asking an open mind.
** Governor Mark Dayton is the key to the Stadium site and approach and with his Commissioners and even House Research with "Facts & Figures" can provide unbiased information. Bottom line, a cost Benefit Analyses of all sites is needed and Governor Dayton is the key. Legislators, help from you welcomed.
Newspapers, Media & Business, "Do you love Minnesota?," "Will you work towards doing what's right for the whole state including it's residents ahead of your own agenda's and evaluate that which is "put" in front of you by various Downtown Groups?,"
Media, Minnesota First?, should it be easy stories Vikings or some "in depth" information so the people have real information?, other sites & possibilities?
Newspapers, "In Depth" Information to the Public, Stadium sites & approach, Jobs, Tourism & Revenue's; Xanadu Mall, a Big Story that you need to tell.

MOA II, Minnesota’s Future, great new image; People who know & love Mall of America & will visit MN again, adds $300 Million yr. to State Tax Revenue.
Chapter 4 - MOA, "Only One" of its kind in the World...

Image; On the decline since 70’s when we were seen as “Innovative & Cool,” a "Great Opportunity," to focus on Minnesota, its University, Corporations and its people. "1.4 Billion Guests" will visit MOA II & Stadium over the next 25 years, more visitors than than Disney World, Grand Canyon & Yellowstone combined.
Chapter 5 - MOA, World's fist Green Stadium...
Heat comes from Radiant lighting from overhead windows, lights and the 40 Million people a yr. who visit, no heating system needed. Saves $3 Million a yr. of the usual $12 Million in “Operating Costs,” lower costs use for H. S.'s & Residents.
Chapter 6 - MOA
II
& Stadium;
Sports, Entertainment & Recreation...
NCCA Basketball Final’s and Regional’s, Prof.
Soccer &
more; "Superdome Effect" "World’s Most Important Events
will be at Mall of America Stadium.” Minnesota Events & Recreational use, 365 Days a Year; the Line-up... NFL Football, the Minnesota Vikings 10 days a year & Green Bay "Visits..." Gopher Football - MOA "Rival Game" once a year in Final Game with Iowa, Wisconsin, or Nebraska, 100,000 Capacity with 80% travel & National TV time, and will help recruit Top Talent from MN & the Country, a Class A Coach & win games. College Football "Snow Bowl," Big Ten Mid-season Basketball Tournament, and Big Ten Championships in Track & Field, Lacrosse & Gopher Spring Baseball. How would you like to work at the Bloomington Convention & Visitors Bureau & have that to sell, sign me up, put me on commission, and get out of my way, :-)...
Chapter 7 - MOA Phase II, Entertainment & Attractions... Mall of America will be the main "Shopping Area" which will be close off at 10:00 and MOA II & Stadium will be the "Sports, Entertainment & Hotel Area" open 24 hours a Day. The Ikea & Marriott Properties also will provide space for "other" uses...
MOA II Attractions: Minnesota Halls of Fame's for Sports, People, Corporations. New Office Bldg. needed for traffic; Music Venues, Dinner & Other Theater(s) Space. Tech City with Individual Showcases - Internet Cafe's, Coffee House's & Bagels. Possible 24 Hour Game Show Broad Casting and Media Studio Facilities... Three Tiered Open End Zone facing Hotel & Indoor Atrium available for Dining, Wedding Receptions, Graduations & more. World's Largest LCD Screen for Sports and may be seen by Planes Landing. Skyways to as many Hotels & Parking Ramps as possible, a connected city with "low cost" space to attract events and to "attract" Mall Traffic for Shopping & weekday visits, that "critical mass" of people provides viewers for "everyday" Events & in turn visitors for weekday shopping, "critical mass," everyone wins. New MOA Attractions to consider: Ski Lift Ride & Gully Twister Ride down beautiful Gully in SE Corner of Mall leading to Minnesota River Fishing Pier. In Europe, fishing for Carp Fishing is big, 20 pounders, easy, kids will remember for years and part of the "Family Activity Theme" where we build "Memories" that last... "Building Memories" for Tourism... Repeat visits to Minnesota will happen when people have "interactive memories" with each other and their surroundings. Viewing Plaques at a Hall of Fame is a "Static" activity, fishing with family members on the Minnesota River is "interactive," especially when you catch a big one, & those types of memories will bring people back to Minnesota many times over, repeat customers. Retail Stores, when you're greeted, same type of thing on a milder bases, the Brain reacts but not on the level as catching a fish with a family member or co-traveler. MOA Tourism Store where Trips are sold & transportation provided, "Interactive activity." Reminder, "People's Stadium," available 365 Days a yr. to 40 million annual Visitors and the New 10 million a year "Guests," from every Country imaginable in the World... Mall of America, “Top 3” Best Know Tourism Destination, Sports, Shopping, Entertainment, things to do; "Down Home" Family fun at MOA...
Chapter 8 - Wilderness Trail Residential & Office, a “Self-contained" City.
At $2.2 Billion the MOA Phase II & Stadium will be the largest Construction Project in Minnesota's History, that number will double to $4 Billion with the River Bluff's and the opportunities in the "South Loop District," will you be a part of it???
Chapter 8 - Minnesota Tourism & Outfitting Store...
Put your sales hat on and sell some tours... * Out-state & Metro Excursions with Transportation, sold on site... * Wabasha, got eagles flying, load up a bus and get visitors there... * Duluth, tall ships are in, Skiing, Buses and Planes, get them there. * Canoeing, outstanding Buel river, day trips to Cannon or Taylor Falls. * Fishing, inexpensive metro area trips and beyond for the big ones. * Big Carp on MOA Minnesota Fishing Pier, kids will remember for years. Mall of America, entry point to Minnesota, extend that memory by furnishing fun and easy things to do. Chambers, furnish staff help, bring YouTube videos and sell scheduled Tourism Trips, your "efforts" will cerate Jobs & happiness for our guests. Out-State Minnesota, Most important for you and it can "only' Happen if there's a Mall of America Phase II & Stadium & you have that "base" to work from, make it happen.
Chapter 8 - American Dream, a MN Tourism Nightmare Opens in 2013...
American Dream is a complete Entertainment, Shopping & Sports Complex with the NFL's new Giant's & Jet's Stadium, Izod Arena and when the Phase II is complete its 7.5 Million sq. ft. will make it the largest Mall in the World.
Chapter 9 - StarTribune & Pioneer Press, MOA & Xanadu Mall "Exclusion."
Only letter on a MOA II & Stadium to them and for their Paper will change their minds, and also to help, a letter to: Governor Mark Dayton, Office of the Governor,
A Message left with his Receptionist's is most effective and is quick & easy, and if you have a few friends help, that would help greatly.
Chapter 10 - MOA Phase II & Stadium, how do we pay for it?
Here are the numbers, Naming Rights and the Usual "User Fee's" will pay for the "whole" MOA Phase II & Stadium:
Jeff Knapple, Naming Rights Guru, his “new approach,” Five Corporations to buy Naming Rights; One for the Building itself, & 4 others in “corner zones;” a good idea and 25 "Opportunities" for your Corporations to buy a Zone... Of note: That $2.2 Billion Investment using "No Tax Money" will bring back to MN 10 Million Tourists a year for an Economic Impact $100 Billion over the life of the Stadium and of create 20,000 total jobs & change Minnesota's Image to the World. Will also help Gopher Recruiting with National TV Broadcasts. Also, the Lot north of MOA is ready to go a Phase II & Stadium, together, can be completed 1 1/2 years faster than any other Site, 2015. Jobs starting this year.
Chapter 10 - A "Global Solution" for "all" of Minnesota...
A "Global Solution" started out several months ago as an "idea" to combine all Sports Venues, Convention Center?, under One Management Group to solve the Financial & Revenue Issues of the venues and Mayor Chris Coleman's Drink Fee, a good idea, of 2 cents could have helped.
The 3 Million Twins Fans streaming into the DT Minneapolis has not help rejuvenate the DT, it has only helped the Bar, Night & Strip Club Business on weekends, so a new approach is needed.
In "Chapter 2 - MOA II & Stadium, Reason's For...," "No. 8 - A “Tale of Two Cities” in DT Minneapolis," a MOA Stadium does nothing for Downtown Mpls. but a "new" Street-wide Skyway Boulevard down 7th Street will bring suburban visitors back to DT with "Controlled Safe Space" so with MOA Zone Revenue Sharing from the MOA II & Stadium Minneapolis, and St. Paul, will have Tourism Dev. money.
Minneapolis & St. Paul get Downtown Development Funds for Tourism and Mall of America Phase II & Stadium brings in 10 Million "new" Tourists a year which can go Downtown in a nice environment. Bloomington will get a 2nd City Manager for MOA.
Chapter 11 - Tourism Development of Downtown Minneapolis & St. Paul.
Minneapolis “Living” off “Events,” time to do “real” Development in the City. Recently, “6 shot in 5 incidents,” in one day, crime figures lower than 3 years ago, but, still something needs to be done. Minneapolis
know you’re trying hard, your DID Program is great; but,
& MOA Zone Revenues
can help develop “Controlled Space” so people will feel safe and these
idea’s are some thoughts instead of just a stadium “Box” with 10
games a year. Vikings are
having trouble selling tickets and a MOA II helps and them & you??? What makes Mall of America successful? “Controlled Space,” Comfortable & Safe with no hassles, climate controlled with free & easy parking, less stress in driving to a MOA location and much more. Minnesota "had" a State Planning Agency which was dropped and even though most cities & towns have one, Minnesota has no means to control Government "idea's" and making sure there are "facts & figures" so an "open process" can determine the best course of action, or development, for Minnesota. Millions & Billions & no control.
Fountains On the Mississippi at St. Anthony Falls, many visitors from Europe want to see the Mississippi and a fountain there would bring many tourists to Downtown.
Fountains on the Mississippi that can be viewed from the Stone Arch Bridge, laser lights, great to watch in summer & in winter, let them freeze and see how high you can make them go, away from people for safety and great fun to watch them "grow."
The Metrodome to be World's the Largest Indoor Waterpark & Playground? Sound silly?, 1.5 Million visitors a year with a 50% tourism ratio, Rooms get rented Downtown and meals bought. A Tough Business find somebody to lease and run it, Minneapolis will reap the rewards & Revenues, "out-side-the-box" thinking. Actually Germany has the largest in a Blimp Hanger, it's huge, but the business is successful. Minneapolis, St. Paul & Ramsey County, what “new” Development Idea’s can be looked at for your residents?
“Zygi Wilf is among the poorest owners in the NFL (Net worth : $310 Million.) He borrowed $175 Million to purchase the Vikings six years ago & still has debt ($135 Million) – paid down only $40 Million of the initial amount. I don’t even know what to say. Open the book. Sell the franchise to someone with deep pockets.” The Above is a quote from www. fieldofscemes.com posted by sam on April 12, 2011 at 03:55 AM Mr. Wilf has done a good job as an NFL owner who has tried hard to get Minnesota a winning football team and has had bad luck on the Stadium front and would stand to make $5 Million a year from Parking Revenues at Arden Hills this along with a good 3 1/2 Million take home on the Vikings each year. Unfortunately it's a poor location and has "No Tourism Value" like Mall of America and that $5 Million profit for Mr. Wilf will cost Minnesota $100 Billion over the next 25 yrs. plus 20,000 total jobs brought about by the 10 Million Tourists a year who will visit. Also, likely, there will be no upgrades for a Vikings Stadium like the Pohlad’s, did for the Twins Ballpark, a Minnesota Owner, and will the Vikings financing of $400 Million for the Stadium be an issue; and how long before the team is sold?
Chapter 13 - In Closing, Where would we be without a Mall of America?
We had 63 Million people from around the world visiting each year & now even at 40 Million yr. the fame still makes it the “World’s Most Famous Mall” and our future is with a MOA II & Stadium, a “Project,” that will cost $2.2 Billion, no tax money, but will have a "Return-on-Investment" of $100 Billion over the next 25 years. Minnesota has an “Image Problem...” Minnesota has lost its “Mojo,” it isn’t “Cool” anymore & has been on the decline since we were seen as “Innovative & Cool” in the 70’s. Sports Casters keep talking about why top sports talent does not want to play or live in Minnesota; what about executive, academics, and those smart “middle” people, what is our image to them? Visitor to MOA, “Atlanta is cool, a city on its way up; Minnesota now just another place, it used to be cool;” had to agree. Governor Dayton, an “Tourism & Stadium Task Force?,” is needed to collect & compile the complex information that is needed for not only a Stadium but the "Big Picture" of Downtown Development and the interaction between both. Downtown needs a solid customer base of the 85% people that will come Downtown on weekdays and to get that you need "Controlled Safe Space" and a place they can relate to, like Mall Space and next generation Skyways, Streetwise Boulevards as a start. The Downtowns need the money for that and MOA Zone Revenue Sharing with MOA getting a Phase II & Stadium provides the revenue, also, MOA will bring in 10 Million new Tourists a year that will travel to downtown with that new space & bring money. Governor Mark Dayton can set up the "means" for a "Big Picture" Discussion on just what Minnesota and the various factions need and broker a deal that moves Minnesota forward. The Vikings also need a solution they can live with, a resonable one.
A MOA II & Stadium is a great opportunity “for the People of Minnesota,” and Government, what i's your call??? Here are the numbers: * 15 Million Tourists a year coming back to MN
* 12,000
Tourism & 8,000 Construction Jobs * $100 Billion in Economic Impact over 25 years
* $300
Million a year in State Tax Revenues * $1 Billion for MOA II - Stadium Naming Rights
* With
usual Funding build the Whole MOA II “$4
Billion” in Free Worldwide Tourism Advertising for 25 Yrs., lets
not forget MOA is a “Top
3” Worldwide Destination that with a MOA II & Stadium:
1.4
Billion People will visit “New,” MOA Marketing, Naming Rights the Building & “25 Zones,” in the MOA II & Stadium Area; it will bring in $1 Billion due to MOA's International Fame & Recognition, great for large International Corporations. Let's not forget about the "YPH..." and their hope for the Future...
for the future... Aug. 2 & 3, 2011 called on about 50 Hotels with the MOA II & Stadium information for the General Managers and a great surprise followed...
was the overwhelming positive response from the Young People at Front Desks, but it was more than that, they could see hope for themselves in the future... All the People of Minnesota deserve Hope for the Future... and it's up to Minnesota's Elected Officials to provide that opportunity and in the case of a new Sports Facility and the need for Tourism help with the Competition from Xanadu's Mall and the decline of MOA's Tourism due to nothing new since 1992, the only answer is a Mall of America Phase II & Stadium that will provide new Tourism, a Stadium, Jobs, Revenue and a Great new image for Minnesota.
MOA II & Stadium, Real Numbers for Minnesota's
Future...
At $2.2 Billion will be the Largest Construction Project in the history of Minnesota, Double the size of just a Single Stadium & Wilderness Trail will add $1.8 Billion more, for "total project value" of $4 Billion Dollars.
Mall of America Phase II & Stadium will be "Completely" Developed with "No," Tax Payer Money starting with Stadium Naming Rights, inside and out, at $1 Billion and usual the "User Fee's" for the Balance of the Project.
Minnesota's MOA, MOA II & Stadium will become the "defacto" Event Showcase for the World and with that "Superdome" effect and important event if it's going to be viewed as "Significant" it will be held at MOA II.
Governor Mark Dayton has been asked in to have his Commissioners and House Research analyze these "Real Numbers" & add their "Expertise" so these "Facts & Figures" for an "Open & Fair" Process.
MOA II & Stadium, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for Minnesota... Mall of America II & Stadium - Opens - October 2015 MOA Stadium; Comments, suggestions & volunteer: vikingbuzz7@gmail.com Helpful Links:
